Red Ox (丁丑)
In a word: Fire Thawing the Ground
A lamp set on frozen midwinter ground. Small, and thawing it.
Plain on the outside, hot inside. Does its work without fuss and finds joy in making and giving. Good with hands or with expression.
Builds quietly. Not a burst — a slow thaw that eventually changes the ground. Takes long, and the result stays.
This is the free part of the Red Ox reading. The full reading — the rest of the text, strengths, what to watch for, where people born on the same day diverge, every 10-year period, this year and next — is $13.99, one-time.
Red Ox: Fire over the Ox. The day you were born gives you one of sixty pairs like this — the stem (丁, Fire) is who you are; the branch (丑, Ox) is the ground you stand on.
