These terms govern your use of sajupillars.com (the "Site") and the readings sold on it. The Site is operated by Healthily Ever After LLC, a New York limited liability company, doing business as Saju Pillars ("we", "us"). By using the Site or buying a reading you agree to these terms.
The Site calculates a traditional Korean four-pillars chart (사주, Saju) from the birth date, time and place you enter, and presents a written interpretation in plain language. The free part shows your eight characters, five-element balance and day-pillar character. The paid part ("Full Reading") adds the complete day-pillar text, the 10-year luck periods, and the current and next year, for the birth data you entered at checkout.
Readings are generated by rules from a traditional interpretive system. They describe tendencies and patterns for reflection and entertainment. They are not predictions of future events and are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or professional advice of any kind. Do not make decisions about health, money, relationships or law based on a reading. If you need advice, consult a qualified professional. We make no guarantee that any reading is accurate, complete or applicable to you.
The chart depends entirely on the birth date, time and place you enter. Where the birth time falls near an hour boundary, during daylight-saving time, or in the 11 pm hour, the Site shows the alternatives so you can compare them. After purchase you can switch those calculation options for the same birth; a different birth date requires a separate purchase.
Readings and the element talisman are one-time purchases, priced as shown at checkout in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never receive your card number. A reading is delivered immediately on screen after payment, and remains accessible in the same browser through the payment reference. One-time purchases never renew and we never charge you again without a new purchase. The subscription described below is the only recurring charge on the Site.
Personal answer ("Ask about your situation"). This is a one-time purchase of a written answer to the question you submit, delivered to the email address you give at checkout. We aim to send it within 24 hours; if it has not reached you within 48 hours, email us and we refund the purchase in full. Answers are prepared from your chart using our rule engine and writing tools, and every answer is read and approved by a person before it is sent. An answer describes tendencies and timing in the language of Saju; it is not a prediction and not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and you remain responsible for your decisions. Once an answer has been sent it cannot be returned and is not refunded, except as stated in our Refund Policy.
Today's reading. Today's reading and the next seven days on the Daily page are free, require no account and are not a purchase. We may change or withdraw the free part at any time.
Subscription. The optional subscription adds, for the birth data you entered at checkout, the current month, the current and next year, your element talisman PDF, a 20% discount on the lifetime and compatibility readings, and the day's reading by email once a day, at an hour and time zone you set on the Daily page (7am by default). It is sold at $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year, priced at checkout in US dollars, and renews automatically at the same price and interval until you cancel. You may cancel at any time, without contacting us, from the billing link on the Daily page, which opens Stripe's billing portal; the subscription then ends at the close of the period you have already paid for and you keep access until then. If we change the price we will email you first, and the new price applies only to renewals after that notice. Access is held by a subscription reference stored in your browser — if you lose it, you can restore access on the Daily page with the email address you paid with and your birth date. The morning email can be switched off on the Daily page without cancelling.
Readings are digital products delivered in full immediately, so all sales are final once a reading has been displayed. If a reading does not load, or you entered the wrong birth date, we re-issue or refund it. See our Refund Policy.
The interpretive texts, the calculation engine and the design of the Site are our property. You may keep and print your own reading for personal use. You may not copy, republish, scrape or resell the texts or use them to build a competing product.
You may not use the Site to harass anyone, to make decisions about another person's employment, credit, insurance or housing, or in any way that violates applicable law. You must be at least 18 years old to buy a reading.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on a reading. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
