We don't claim a chart predicts your life. We claim it is about you — not about a twelfth of everyone — and that each of the sixty day characters here was written individually, not from ten templates.
You had your saju read, and you didn't understand a single line of it. I didn't either, for a long time.
An elder in my mother's family had taken monastic vows and spent a lifetime studying saju at a temple. She read my chart from the time I was a child — and I still couldn't read the sheet myself. So I recorded the sessions and played them back at home, one sentence at a time. Behind all the difficult words there were only eight characters and a handful of steps.

Direction: yang-year men and yin-year women run forward, the others backward. The starting age is the time to the nearest solar term at 3 days = 1 year, rounded (age in full years). In each 10 years the top character runs the first five years and the bottom character the last five. Luck strength is rated against the element your eight characters need: when that element comes in it is Good; when your most numerous element comes in again it is Average or Fairly poor; a head-on clash with your birth day can bring it down to Poor. The year turns at the Start of Spring (around February 4).
The twelve-stage names (Illness, Death, Tomb and so on) are old labels for the strength of an energy cycle. They do not refer to actual illness or death.
